Blake Edwards directs William Holden and Ryan O'Neal in this anti-Western about two cowboys who quit cattle-ranching and take up bank-robbing. Karl Malden plays the offended cattle rancher who sends his two sons (Tom Skerritt and Joe Don Baker) out to bring the two cowboys to justice.
