Plot Synopsis: On a brisk fall night last October, the Cardinals and Rangers turned one in for the books, in one of the most spectacular, history-making World Series game of all time. On the edge of elimination, the St. Louis Cardinals trailed the Texas Rangers five times, including by two runs in the ninth and in the 10th, each of those two times down to their last strike. The Redbirds comebacks were triggered by David Freese, Lance Berkman, and a resilient lineup. The tides finally changed on the game – and the Series – when, in the 11th inning and down to his last strike, Freese saved the day for a second time with a walk-off home run, firmly solidifying this game as an instant, unforgettable classic.
