Plot Sypnosis:

The great Polish director Andrzej Wajda returns with this passionate biopic about avant-garde artist Wladyslaw Strzeminski (brilliantly played by Polish superstar Boguslaw Linda), who battled Stalinist orthodoxy and his own physical impairments to advance his progressive ideas about art.

Director Andrzej Wajda is a legendary filmmaker, having won an Oscar for Lifetime Achievement, a BAFTA, Palme d'Or (Cannes), and Cesar Award, amongst many many others. He has been nominated for dozens of awards, including Golden Bears (Berlin), Palme d'Or Awards (Cannes), Golden Lions (Venice).
