Plot Synopsis:
The distant past, the recent past and the present collide in "French Dirty," a meditation on love, loss and growing up as a millennial.
Thirty-year-old bon vivant Vincent is busy sucking the pit of his spent wild years while stumbling through the wreckage of a bad breakup. Luckily, he’s got his life-long best friend Steve, and Steve’s girlfriend Roma, to prop him up, slap his back and hold out an inviting fizzy pink drink. It seems like Vincent’s all set to get by with a little help from his friends, until an evening’s indiscretion with Roma sends everything sideways. As it flips backward and forward through time, "French Dirty" imagines young L.A. as a utopia of meet-cutes, rooftop barbecues and drunken camaraderie that never cools into the blue hungover light of morning. Free of easy rom-com answers, it dares you to believe that the band might be broken up for good.
