Crater Lake is America’s deepest lake and scientists consider it to be the cleanest and clearest large body of water in the world! It’s vibrant blue color is a testament to it’s purity and depth and is fed almost entirely by rain and snowfall, which averages 38-44 feet per year. Oregon’s Mount Mazama collapsed after a major eruption thousands of years ago resulting in this spectacular natural jewel located in the Pacific Northwest.  The lake is more than 5 miles in diameter and is surrounded by 2,000’ steep rock walls. Summer: Ranger guided boat tours with spectacular views of the Caldera walls from below “the Rim”, biking, hiking old growth forests and Crater Lake Lodge. Winter: Ranger guided snow shoeing, cross country skiing and “Dancing Dozers”.
