Plot Sypnosis:

On May 30th 2015, the first ever Metal Meltdown concert series event kicked off at The Joint at the world famous Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. The legendary, multi-platinum selling hard rock band Twisted Sister performed an explosive 90 minute set of the band's biggest hits spanning their 40 year career. The concert was dedicated to the honor of Twisted Sister's iconic drummer, AJ Pero, whose tragic, sudden death shocked the music world only days after Twisted Sister announced that this would become the band's final tour ever. The band recruited renowned metal drummer Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, The Winery Dogs, Avenged Sevenfold, Adrenaline Mob) to take the reins and his very first Twisted Sister appearance was captured by the Metal Meltdown camera crew. The first of the Metal Meltdown Concert series, Twisted Sister was a 24 multi-camera shoot, filmed in stunning HD, with a state-of-the-art LED stage set featuring custom animation. This monumental concert film attests to singer Dee Snider’s remark that Twisted Sister is “the best live band ever.” The concert captures Snider’s signature powerful vocals and dynamic showmanship. He delivers with the force that he did 40 years earlier when performing the band’s most iconic anthems including “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” “I Wanna Rock,” “The Kids Are Back,” “Come Out And Play” and many more of the bands hard rockin’ anthems. Metal Meltdown - Featuring Twisted Sister Live at the Hard Rock Casino - Las Vegas, features the complete concert film plus Rockshow, a bonus documentary that takes you through the band's 40 year twisted ride from local club outcasts to world domination, with exclusive interviews, 80's archive footage, photo gallery; mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound. Metal Meltdown is produced by award-winning production company, Rock Fuel Media.
