This live recording from the Amerikahaus in Munich, taken on February 27, 1981, is a beautiful journey through Friedrich Guldas favorite pieces by his favorite composer. Gulda performed this programme for purists. He presents his immaculate interpretations with indisputable tactfulness. The works performed here include Sonatas No. 4, 9, 12, and 14, Fantasia in C minor, and Aria In diesen heilgen Hallen from The Magic Flute arranged by Gulda himself.
