For the first time ANYWHERE, this brand-new cut of The Flock is now on bluray in this massive two-disc set. This version of the movie is only available on disc, and it includes an alternate opening, deleted and extended scenes, and a never-before-seen character fate that changes an aspect of the movie’s original ending. This release also includes The Devil’s Children, for the first time on bluray.

Synopsis: A mysterious cult leader, Crow, and his group called “The Flock” have taken up residence in the desert, and people are turning up missing. This has attracted the attention of V and Danny, a pair of demon-worshippers who set out to make sure Crow knows what he’s doing. Unfortunately for them, it has also attracted the attention of a group of holy mercenaries hired by the Church to exterminate the group by any means necessary.

“A lot of blood and spent brass.”
-Dread Central

This movie is a critique of internet culture and celebrity worship on a skeleton of cheesy ‘80s action set pieces and gory homemade practical effects. It follows multiple characters as they journey to Crow’s hideout - some for revenge, and some to unleash Hell on Earth - resulting in a chaotic third act as multiple ideologies clash.

This Two-Disc Standard Edition includes the new Director’s Cut + roughly TWO HOURS of bonus features:

Disc 1:

The Flock: The Director’s Cut (with Introduction by Dillon Brown). An exclusive cut of the movie available for the first time anywhere. It includes alternate and extended scenes, including new introductions AND endings to some of the movie’s main characters.

What Makes A Cult? Video Essay. Take a deep-dive into the world of cult mentality with this video essay written/directed/edited by Jason Kleeberg and produced by Someone’s Favorite Productions. This 16-minute featurette is a mini-documentary all on its own, using real-world and pop-culture cults to help explain some of the most common tactics used by cult leaders.

Disc 2:

Bonus Film: The Devil’s Children (with Introduction by Dillon Brown). The movie that kick-started the “Flockiverse”, a low-budget first iteration of what The Flock would grow to become. This feature follows V, Danny, and Shane in scenes that bookend The Flock, providing extra context to the story as a whole.

Meet the Cast Interviews. Through a mix of behind-the-scenes footage and interviews, get to know two key cast members better - Natalie Hurt (V) and Michael Rock (Ghost).

Meeting the Fourth Horseman - Behind the Scenes. An extended look at one of the movie’s turning point scenes, see the multiple takes that went into the shot and listen to retrospective from cast members.

Uncut & Fully Extended Featurette. The long joke scene that FINALLY made it into a cut of the movie - and the true story behind its origins.

Acting as Therapy Featurette. Through commentary by director Dillon Brown and actor Michael Rock, learn about Horror Nerd Productions’ mission to always include veterans, first responders, and other service members - and why it matters.

The Man Behind the Curtain Interview. A conversation with director Dillon Brown on what The Flock means to him.

Not Ashamed Lyric Music Video. A VHS-inspired lyric video of the movie’s end credits theme music, which was provided by Patrick Liberatore.
