When la Havana falls prey to a full-blown zombie invasion, slacker Juan and his friend decide to profit from the crisis and set up a zombie eradication business with the slogan 'Juan de los Muertos - we kill your loved ones'. Before long Juan finds himself in the money - as well as in the unfamiliar and somewhat uncomfortable role of local hero - as he and his partner expand their ever-expanding repertoire of inventive ways to kill zombies.
