On the Sunday of the Manhattan Stakes, Lupin pulls out all the stops to make off with the winnings and hamstring the local mafia. Or so he plans to do a week from now. In the meantime, a young woman named Michelle complicates matters by hiring Lupin to steal a massive diamond - the Goddess' Teardrop - from her wealthy father. Of course, Fujiko wants the giant diamond for herself, and has made Goemon her willing servant. Jigen gets hired away by a suspicious man from his past.
