In a time of Myths and Gods, giant creatures created and ruled over the lands of Ars. Then the first men came to claim the lands for themselves. Now war reigns as the wrathful Beasts seek to destroy the invaders, whose champions, the Nagimori, fight using the untamed magic of their Kannagi partners. But when Jiro, a Nagimori who’s lost his partner, comes across a young woman whose powers have just awakened, he learns that she is on the run from a mysterious laboratory with sinister connections. Though still in mourning, Jiro agrees to partner with Kumi and her friend Myaa, as together they seek to piece together the mystery behind their creation, and to confront the GIANT BEASTS OF ARS.
