In this dark psychological thriller series, a small community is struck by a crime without punishment. Evil has taken root, and fear has led to powerlessness. That evil is Mike, a young man with no morals or boundaries. He is hyperintelligent and threatens his victims not only physically but by hitting their psychological weak spots. He is restless and energetic with a complete lack of empathy. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Peter, the local town doctor and father of Aksel, a young boy whom Mike killed in a hit-and-run 18 months ago – and got off scot-free.
