Cult director Walter Hill delivers survival action in a class of its own with Keith Carradine, Powers Boothe and the film music of Ry Cooder!
Louisiana, 1973: The river basins are home to the Cajuns, the descendants of French immigrants on the edge of civilization. In this swampy no man's land, a nine-man National Guard reservist squad embarks on a training maneuver. In 48 hours they wanted to be back home with their families. But they cross the border into an area where they do not belong. They are breaking laws they didn't know existed. And the further they go, the closer they get to nowhere. The reservists try to escape from the impenetrable swamp terrain, but the maneuver has long since become a merciless manhunt. They are neither militarily nor psychologically prepared for them, and one by one they fall victim to them...
An incredibly hard, dense, provocative, rousing radical cinema bomb... Jutting! (TIP)
