Undeniably one of the most harrowing films of the 20th century...
Henry is an inconspicuous guy and psychopathic killer. He roams the country and finds his victims with unmistakable instinct. For a while, he settles in Chicago in the run-down apartment of his ex-prison buddy Otis. In this toxic environment comes Otis' younger sister Becky, who flees from her violent husband and looks for a place to stay. She is attracted to Henry and has no idea that Otis and Henry are now murdering together.
In 1986, John McNaughton created a film that showed the banality of evil as it had never been seen before. Thanks to the 4K restoration, Henry's human abysses can now be seen in unprecedented image quality.
