Boxcar Bertha, an exemplary film effort for producer and exploitation maestro Roger Corman (Bloody Mama, The Wild Angels), is “beautifully directed” (The New York Times) by Martin Scorsese (Taxi Driver, Mean Streets, Goodfellas) and stars Barbara Hershey (Hannah and Her Sisters, The Last Temptation of Christ) and David Carradine (Bound for Glory, Kill Bill) as Depression-era lovers and train robbers on the run.
