'Five Element Ninjas' Announced for Blu-ray

The 1982 action flick also known as 'Super Ninjas' is coming to Blu-ray next week.
In a recent announcement to retailers, Tokyo Shock says 'Five Element Ninjas' for Blu-ray on December 13.
When a quintet of nasty ninjas -- hell-bent on world domination -- nearly massacres an entire clan, its lone survivor must take the path of revenge. He meets up with an old master well-versed in the ways of the ninja. Now armed with secret knowledge and newfound friends, he must battle the awesome power of the Five Element Ninjas, who harness the powers of gold, wood, fire, water, earth.
Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price is $19.98.

'Ichi the Killer' to Cut Up Blu-ray this March

Tokyo Shock has announced their latest indie import for domestic Blu-ray release, setting a late-March date for 'Ichi the Killer.'
Directed by Takashi Miike, the highly-controversial Asian thriller is notorious for its graphic violence and sadistic storyline. Tokyo Shock will release the film unrated on Blu-ray March 31 (a previous DVD edition was released in 2003).
There are no tech or supplement specs available as of yet, but watch for final details in the days ahead.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.95.

Tokyo Shock Jumps into Blu with 'Death Trance'

Next-gen newcomer Tokyo Shock has announced their debut Blu-ray release, setting a late-January date for the martial arts actioner 'Death Trance.'
One of the leading distributors of Asian cinema on DVD, Tokyo Shock will kick-off its Blu-ray support on January 27 when it releases the Tak Sakaguchi-starrer.
Due to the early announcement, Tokyo Shock has yet to confirm final tech specs or supplement details, but we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price has been set at $24.95.
