'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D Dated

Duke, Roadblock, Snake Eyes, and the rest of the team will be protecting both Blu-ray formats in July.

As previously reported, Paramount's 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' is in the works for Blu-ray, and now that date looks to be July 30.

'G.I. Joe: Retaliation – 3D' (2D included) will also be released at the same time.

A follow-up to the 2009 worldwide blockbuster 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,' which grossed over $300 million worldwide, Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Skydance Productions present, in association with Hasbro, a di Bonaventura Pictures production: 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation.' In this installment, the team is not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra, but they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The movie stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu; produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner and written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick, based on Hasbro's G.I. Joe characters.

Specs have not been revealed yet, but supplements include: G.I. Joe Declassified: Eight Part Making-of Documentary; Deleted Scenes; and more!

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is set at $39.99 and $54.99 for the Blu-ray 3D.

J.J. Abrams' latest sci-fi/action blockbuster is already up for Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D pre-orders at Amazon!

In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is already preparing 'Star Trek Into Darkness' Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet combo pack and 'Star Trek Into Darkness - 3D' Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet combo pack for release later this year.

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Specs, supplements, and release dates have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is set at $39.99 and the Blu-ray 3D will be $54.99.

The Blu-ray 3D will also be available in a limited edition set with a replica phaser for $99.99.

'The Borgias: The Complete Third Season' Blu-ray Dated and Detailed

The third season of the Showtime series starring Jeremy Irons as Pope Alexander VI is planned for Blu-ray in August.

In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is working on 'The Borgias: The Complete Third Season' for Blu-ray on August 6.

The saga of history's most infamous crime family continues as Pope Alexander conspires with his ruthless sons and poisonously seductive daughter to obtain untold wealth and power. Mercilessly cruel and defiantly decadent, intimidation and murder are his weapons of choice in his scandalous ascension to the papacy. In Season Three, Alexander clings desperately to power, relying on Cesare (Francois Arnaud) to exact revenge on his enemies and secure the family legacy. But Cesare is hellbent on his own rise, and at any cost, leading to an epic father-son struggle with Lucrezia (Holliday Grainger) as the reluctant pawn.

The Blu-ray set will feature 1080p video, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include a gag reel and Ray Donovan: Episodes 1 & 2.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $65.99.

Michael Bay's musclebound action/comedy is now up for Blu-ray pre-order at Amazon.

In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is already preparing 'Pain & Gain' for a Blu-ray release later this year.

The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie and is based on the unbelievable true story of a group of personal trainers in 1990’s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong.

Specs, supplements, and a release date have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet Digital Copy combo pack is $39.99.

Another fan favorite episode is getting a standalone Blu-ray release this summer.

In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount and CBS says 'Star Trek: The Next Generation - Redemption' will arrive on Blu-ray on July 30.

The 2-part 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' episode re-edited as a feature-length presentation follows Captain Picard and Lieutenant Worf as they fight to end a Klingon Civil War.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.99.

The much-anticipated fourth season will be arriving on Blu-ray at the tail end of July!

As previously reported, Paramount and CBS are gearing up to release 'Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season 4' on Blu-ray, and now the official date looks to be July 30.

The Fourth Season includes all 26 episodes including fan-favorites “The Best of Both Worlds, Part II,” “Reunion,” “Redemption,” “Final Mission,” “Qpid,” “The Drumhead,” “Brothers” and “In Theory,” all painstakingly restored and remastered from the original negatives like the previous releases.

The 6-disc set will feature all 26 remastered episodes with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Audio commentaries by Rob Bowman, Brannon Braga, Mike and Denise Okuda and Ronald D. Moore; gag reel; and episodic promos; plus brand-new features will include Relavitity: The Family Saga of Star Trek: The Next Generation; and In Conversation: The Art Department.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray set is $129.99.

No date has been set yet, but details are trickling in for the much-anticipated Blu-ray set arriving this summer!

'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters' Announced for Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D

The action packed fairy tale re-imagining will be slaying both Blu-ray formats in June.

In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is preparing 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters' for Blu-ray on June 11.

'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters – 3D' (2D included) will also be available on the same date.

After getting a taste for blood as children, Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) have become the ultimate vigilantes, hell bent on retribution. Now, unbeknownst to them, Hansel and Gretel have become the hunted, and must face an evil far greater than witches...their past. Both theatrical and unrated versions will be presented.

The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo packs will feature 1080p video, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtracks, and supplements will include: Reinventing Hansel & Gretel; The Witching Hours; and Meet Edward the Troll.

'Jack Reacher' Blu-ray Announced

The action-thriller starring Tom Cruise will debut on Blu-ray in May.

In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount has revealed 'Jack Reacher' for a Blu-ray release on May 7.

Tom Cruise tackles the title role with the brute force his character is known for and his “tightly controlled performance holds our attention all the way through to the tense finale” (Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News). Based on best-selling author Lee Child’s wildly popular series of novels, 'Jack Reacher' was adapted for the screen and directed by Academy Award®-winner Christopher McQuarrie (Best Original Screenplay, 'The Usual Suspects,' 1995). Filled with heart-pounding action, thrills and a “killer chase scene” (Chris Vognar, Dallas Morning News), 'Jack Reacher' is “hard-boiled detective story entertainment” (Richard Corliss, Time) that “will have you gasping in surprise at the velocity and ferocity of the action” (Marshall Fine, Huffington Post).
