'Bettie Page: Dark Angel' Announced for Blu-ray

The 2004 low-budget biography is coming to Blu-ray in February.
In an early announcement to retailers, independent company Cult Epics has revealed 'Bettie Page: Dark Angel' is planned for Blu-ray on February 28.
The drama directed by Nico B. stars Paige Richards, Frederick Bald and David Boller and tells the story of the last three years of Bettie Page's brief career.
Specs, supplements, and suggested list price have yet to be revealed.

'Pound of Flesh' Announced for Blu-ray

The 2010 crime thriller starring Malcolm McDowell will have a high-definition debut in November.
In an early announcement to retailers, independent company Cult Epics has revealed 'Pound of Flesh' is planned for Blu-ray on November 15.
Barden College's most revered professor, Noah Melville (Malcolm McDowell), meets his tragic downfall in the shoddy underworld where sex meets scholarship, in Tamar Simon Hoffs' dark comedic thriller.
Professor Melville teaches the most popular Shakespeare class at the idyllic college. His beautiful wife and daughter adore him, as do his students. Yet all is not as it seems. Between lectures, the professor runs an upscale escort service using gorgeous coeds whose steep tuition is financed through Melville's prestigious "Scholarship" program. Pillars of the community, faculty, and the school's wealthy chairman of the board, Cameron Morris (Timothy Bottoms), are among Melville's satisfied clients.
Charges of abuse of force have relegated hardened Detective Patrick Kelly (Angus Macfadyen) to a lowly desk job in Barden, where his only distraction is his feisty boss, Sergeant Rebecca Ferraro (Elizabeth Rodriguez). When an unidentified young woman's body is found near campus, Kelly intuitively suspects the cocky Professor in the crime. A late night alcohol driven brawl unexpectedly implicates Cameron.
Kelly and Ferraro's rough interrogation is stunted by the Chief of Police, who deems the case closed. Furious, Kelly relentlessly seeks justice for the dead girl, leading to Melville's arrest for pandering.
Tortured by the specter of a long prison sentence, the professor flees. Taking the law into his own hands, Kelly, driven by his own skeletons, is determined to track Melville down at any cost, even losing his job. The sensualist professor and the disgraced detective will meet and duel to a brutal conclusion filled with unexpected revelations.

'Monamour' Announced for Blu-ray

The erotic film by Tinto Brass will seduce Blu-ray at the end of the month!
In an early announcement to retailers, independent company Cult Epics has revealed 'Monamour' for a Blu-ray release on July 26.
Tinto Brass’ 'Monamour' is the love-story of a Venetian girl and a Frenchman in the beautiful city of Mantua. Dario, her husband is too busy to notice his wife’s sexual drifting, when her adultery “born out of neglect and frustration” starts on the day she meets a tall dark stranger in a museum. An intoxicating mix of lies, betrayal and fantasy follows Marta into her personal diary where every emotion and passion is recorded.
'Monamour' stars Anna Jimskaia and Max Parodi ('Cheeky!'), with a line of stars of Tinto’s previous erotic films. In a brand new high-definition transfer, the film has never looked better.
Specs haven't been revealed yet, but the 2-disc set will include: The Making of “Monamour”, The Making of “Kick the Cock”, Comic strip by Franco Saudelli, Venice Film Festival Premiere w/Tinto Brass (Circuito Off 2008, Media Group TV), Spanish Dance by Angelita Franco, and Trailers.
The Blu-ray also includes the bonus film, 'Kick the Cock.' “Kick the Cock” is an old Dutch saying; meaning “Peek in the Kitchen”, or something shocking and extreme, we can expect that of Tinto Brass; the director and co-star, along with newcomer Angelita Franco. 'Kick the Cock' premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2008, and won “Best Short Film” at a Fetish Film Festival in Germany in 2009.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.98.

'Score: Uncut & Uncensored' Announced for Blu-ray

An uncensored version of the adult comedy is coming to high-definition this October.
As previously reported, independent company Cult Epics has announced their first Blu-ray release will be Radley Metzger's 'Score' starring Claire Wilbur, Calvin Culver, Lynn Lowry, and Gerald Grant on October 26.
But on October 12, it seems 'Score: Uncut & Uncensored' will also be available with what appears to be five additional minutes of footage.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Audio commentary with Michael Bowen and Radley Metzger; On the set of The Score – A 25 minute featurette with Claire Wilbur, Lynn Lowry, Cal Culver and Radley Metzger; Keeping Score with Lynn Lowry – A 20 minute new interview; and Trailers.
Suggested list price for each Blu-ray is $34.95.

The Blu-ray release will feature both the theatrical and unrated cuts of this erotic cult classic.
Specs haven't been revealed yet, but supplements will include: Audio commentary with Michael Bowen and Radley Metzger; On the set of The Score – A 25 minute featurette with Claire Wilbur, Lynn Lowry, Cal Culver and Radley Metzger; Keeping Score with Lynn Lowry – A 20 minute new interview; and Trailers.
