'Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie' Blu-ray Dated

The comedy the Huffington Post hails as “the funniest film I’ve seen in years” is bound for Blu-ray in May.

In an early announcement to retailers, Magnolia has slated 'Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie' for a Blu-ray release on May 8.

The all new feature from the twisted minds of cult comedy heroes Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (“Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job”) has been hailed as “The best movie ever!” (Eric Warenheim) and “hilarious” (Tim & Eric’s Parents).

Joining the popular comedic duo in “the most startlingly apocalyptic film of the year” (The Village Voice) is an all-star list of co-stars.Tim and Eric are given a billion dollars to make a movie, but squander every dime eliciting the wrath of the sinister Schlaaang corporation. Their lives at stake, the guys skip town in search of a way to pay the money back. When they happen upon a chance to rehabilitate a bankrupt mall full of vagrants, bizarre stores and a man-eating wolf that stalks the food court, they see dollar signs—a billion of them. Featuring cameos from Awesome Show regulars and some of the biggest names in comedy today!

Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.98.
