Fox has detailed final specs for 'Big Trouble in Little China,' which will kick its way to Blu-ray this July in a never-before-seen extended cut.

As first reported last week, Fox has set an August 4 Blu-ray date for the 1986 John Carpenter cult classic, and it was expected to include the original theatrical cut of the film only.

Order 'Oz the Great and Powerful'

Coming to Blu-ray June 11th

Final details have just come in, with 'Big Trouble' now boasting both its PG-rated and extended cut versions (with never-before-seen footage), accessible on BD-50 dual-layer disc via seamless branching. Tech specs will see 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (2.35:1) and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.

Extras will match the previous special edition DVD, including audio commentary by Carpenter and actor Kurt Russell, nine deleted scenes and an alternate ending, vintage making-of featurette, a music video, additional interviews, still gallery and theatrical trailers and TV spots.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.

You'll find the latest specs for 'First Sunday' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under May 6.
