'Pete's Dragon: 35th Anniversary Edition' Announced for Blu-ray

Take a high-def trip to Passamaquoddy when the 1977 family musical comes to Blu-ray in October!
In an early announcement to retailers, Disney will bring 'Pete's Dragon: 35th Anniversary Edition' to Blu-ray on October 2.
The Disney classic about an orphan who is befriended by a large green and purple dragon stars Helen Reddy, Mickey Rooney, Shelley Winters, Jim Dale, and Red Buttons and was nominated for two Oscars -- Best Original Score and Best Original Song (Reddy's "Candle in the Water").
Specs and supplements are still forthcoming, and suggested list price for the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack will be $29.99.
