Weinstein Planning January Blu-ray Release for 'Superhero Movie'

The Weinstein Co. has alerted retailers to an early-January Blu-ray bow for the spoof 'Superhero Movie.'

Starring Pamela Anderson and Craig Bierko, 'Superhero Movie' failed to make much of a dent at the box office during its brief theatrical run earlier this year. The Weinstein Co. will give the comedy a second shot when it releases the Blu-ray January 6, day-and-date with the standard DVD.

Pre-Order 'The Muppets'

Hitting Blu-ray on March 20th!

There's no tech or supplement specs as of yet, but we'll keep you posted.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.98.
