The inaugural season of the acclaimed comedy TV series is also in the works for Blu-ray in July.
In an early announcement to retailers,, Warner Brothers has set 'The Big Bang Theory: The Complete First Season' to Blu-ray on July 10.
University physicists Leonard and Sheldon know whether to use an integral or a differential to solve the area under a curve. But they don't have a clue about girls. Or dating. Or clothes. Or parties. Or having fun. Or, basically, life. So when a pretty blonde named Penny moves in the apartment across the hall, the guys decide to get an education outside of the classroom.
The release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo and will include all 17 episodes in 1080p video and supplements will include: Quantum Mechanics of The Big Bang Theory behind-the-scenes featurette and a Blu-ray exclusive gag reel.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray set is $34.99.
