'Polar Express' to Arrive on Blu-ray this Fall

Warner Home Video has announced that 'The Polar Express' will finally be pulling onto Blu-ray, a full year after making its high-def debut on HD DVD.
The CGI animated, $125 million box office smash from Oscar-winning director Robert Zemeckis will arrive on Blu-ray October 30, featuring identical specs to the previous HD DVD version (read our review).
Video is presented in 1080p/VC-1, and Warner has decided not to upgrade the audio to any of the high-resolution formats, so fans will once again have to content themselves with a sole Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track (at 640kbps).
Supplements include a five-part documentary, six additional featurettes, a music video, interactive game and the original theatrical trailer.
Retail will list for $28.98.
As always, you'll find complete product information for 'The Polar Express' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's now lodged under October 30.
