'The Phantom' Announced for Blu-ray
Thu Sep 02, 2010 at 01:00 PM ETTags: Disc Announcements, Vivendi (all tags)
The purple hero rides again in the 2010 miniseries hitting high-definition next week!
Vivendi will be bringing 'The Phantom' to Blu-ray on September 7.
The 3-hour long action adventure is the first revival of the titular character since the 1996 Billy Zane guilty pleasure, and aired on the Sci-Fi Channel (we here at HDD refuse to call the network by their new ridiculous name) earlier this year.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include interviews and a trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $24.99.
You can find the latest specs for 'The Phantom' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under September 7.
