More cute and furry animal critters will be scurrying to Blu-ray this winter, when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment debuts 'Open Season' on January 30.

Though not a huge hit at the box office, 'Open Season' is getting the pull-out-all-the-stops treatment when it arrives day-and-date with standard-def DVD. The wealth of bonus features include two audio commentaries, making-of featurettes, a new animated short, music video, interactive games and more.

Tech specs boast a 1080p/MPEG-2 video transfer and uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track, as well as a Dolby Digital 5.1 option.

Retail is set at $38.95 for the Blu-ray version.
