Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the 1994 musical thriller 'Immortal Beloved' to Blu-ray this summer.
Starring Gary Oldman, the highly-fictionalized retelling of the life of Ludwig Van Beethoven enjoyed critical acclaim during its original theatrical run, and will make its Blu-ray debut this August 21.
Specs are set to include a 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 transfer and uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track (48kHz/16-bit/4.6mbps). Announced extras on the BD-25 single-layer release currently include only the film's original making-of featurette.
Sony has set a $28.95 list price for the release.
We've added a link to full specs for 'Immortal Beloved' to our Blu-ray release schedule, under August 21, where it joins the Halle Berry thriller 'Perfect Stranger,' which Sony announced for Blu-ray release last week.
