Paramount Home Entertainment is bringing the comedy 'Without a Paddle' to Blu-ray in mid-May.

The 2002 comedy, which starred Seth Green and Matthew Liliard, proved to be a fairly sizable hit upon first release, eventually snagging over $70 million in domestic box office receipts.

Eventually spawning a direct-to-video sequel of its own ('Without a Paddle: Nature's Calling,' which Paramount released on high-def earlier this year), the original film will make its belated Blu-ray debut on May 12.

There are no tech or supplement specs available as of yet, but a package comparable to the previous special edition DVD is expected. Stay tuned.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99.
