The 1954 film noir classic starring Frank Sinatra will take Blu-ray hostage this December.
In an early announcement to retailers, Image Entertainment is working on 'Suddenly (1954)' for Blu-ray on December 4.
Transferred from the original 35mm studio fine grain master print, 'Suddenly' features Sinatra as a violent and volatile hitman in a unforgettable white-knuckled thriller.
This was Frank Sinatra’s first film following his Academy Award®-winning performance in 'From Here to Eternity'. Daring for its day, 'Suddenly' remains a controversial classic of unnerving suspense.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0 soundtrack, and supplements include: New commentaries by Frank Sinatra Jr. and USC film professor Dr. Drew Casper; 1957 short film N.Y., N.Y.: A Day in New York by director Francis Thompson; and Image Gallery.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.98.
