MGM has set a late-January Blu-ray release for the classic rock mockumentary 'This is Spinal Tap.'
Starring Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Harry Shearer as aging metalheads who embark on a disastrous "comeback" tour of the United States, the Rob Reiner-directed spoof will hit Blu-ray on January 20. (The film has previously been released in a myriad of DVD releases over the past decade.)
There's no word yet on tech specs or what extras may make the Blu-ray, but we expect full details in the coming weeks, so we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.99.
You'll find the latest specs for 'This is Spinal Tap' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under January 20.
